Pasadena Tournament of Roses Foundation

MISSION STATEMENT

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Foundation is a tax exempt, non-profit public benefit corporation established in 1983 to receive and manage contributions from the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, its supporters, and the general public.  These funds are used to perpetuate the beauty and tradition of the Tournament of Roses and to improve the quality of life in the greater Pasadena area.  Funds available are disbursed to qualified public charities whose purposes and activities support, foster and promote the charitable purposes of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, and other civic, cultural, educational and charitable activities in the Pasadena area.

ADMINISTRATION

The Pasadena Tournament of Roses Foundation is administered by a thirteen member Board of Directors appointed by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association.  The Board of Directors is comprised of members of the community and Tournament members, including members of the Executive Committee.  The Board is responsible for receiving gifts and managing the assets of the Foundation, screening and approving grant requests, and disbursing funds to qualifying organizations.
